Darshan of all four Himalayan abodes — Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath — a guided yatra from Haridwar with Sri Chidambaranadha Swamigal.
The Char Dham — the four abodes — are the crown of Hindu pilgrimage, set high in the Garhwal Himalaya: Yamunotri, source of the Yamuna; Gangotri, where Ganga first touches the earth; Kedarnath, the Jyotirlinga of Śiva amid the snows; and Badrinath, the eternal seat of Vishnu.
Undertaken from Haridwar in the sacred west-to-east order, and completed with treks to Yamunotri and Kedarnath, to walk all four is said to wash the soul of lifetimes — the great pilgrimage every Hindu hopes to make once in a lifetime.
The Himalayan climate changes abruptly and can fall to 5°C or lower — pack adequate warm and waterproof clothing. Senior citizens should carry a recent medical fitness certificate; pilgrims above 70 are advised to travel with a family escort. A valid government photo ID is required.
